She who is brave is free
Today I want to share with you a simple but powerful meditation exercise that has been a huge factor in moving me from drug induced to life infused.
It is a quick and easy visualisation tool to help you get present in the now and experience the reality of the Holy Spirit in your everyday life. This exercise is about being positioned to receive from God which is so essential for daily freedom.
Ok, I want you to take a moment to think what has been top of mind. Those things that have potentially been causing you some worry or thought this morning? Maybe it’s your kids, job, relationships, finances, bills to be paid, need for sleep (oh yeah that is me this morning), your list of to do’s or the preparation or organisation of an upcoming event.
Let the Holy Spirit guide the thought process. Invite him now just to bring to the forefront of your memory that which has been taking up residence in your heart and mind.
Come Holy Spirit
Wait on the thoughts. Don’t rush it
Once you feel you are connected to those thoughts I want you to bring them all to Jesus. A helpful way to do this is to imagine that you can put all those thoughts in a box. Imagine yourself putting them in it, weighing it down. As each thought comes, put it in the box until you feel you have covered off on it all.
Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
Christ Jesus who died–more than that, who was raised to life–is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Romans 8:38
So as we bring these thoughts to Jesus we can be confident that he is in prayer for us! Our prayer goes via the Holy Spirit, through Jesus to the Father!
Then our answer, the wisdom we need or the healing comes back from the Father, through Jesus via the Holy Spirit to us
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
So often our problem is that we keep every day worries, concerns and anxieties within rather than going through the above divine process.
Don’t keep your thoughts looping within because when you do you leave yourself without the counsel and power of God
When we do keep our concerns to our self it allows the enemy to come along and whisper his counsel to us which is always intent on fuelling our worries. He speaks worry, anxiety and hopelessness into our situation, into our mind and we end up lacking the power to breakthrough.
Divine power comes from the divine process ladies!
May this process become a part of your everyday success and freedom as it has mine
Buckets of love!
